The WTO Agreements concluded on 1st January 1995 have ushered in a new era of much freer market access and trade between different countries. In the Uruguay Round substantial tariff reduction commitments have been undertaken by the WTO-members and several agreements signed. The most important amongst them are Agreements on Anti-dumping, Safeguards, Subsidies and counter vailing Measures, Agriculture, Textiles and clothing: These Agreements have great impact on the openand free trade and require a fot of expertise in their interpretation and settling trade disputes, both from the Commercial and Legal aspects resulting there from.
