Telecom and Insurance
With the opening up of Telecom and Insurance Sectors to the Private Sector, presence of International Players and increase in the permissible levels of foreign DirectInvestment, a number of domestic companies and multi nationals have made/areproposing to make entry into India in these sectors. To regulate these sectors, the Government of India have set up the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority. At D & D we take up feasibility studies, viability studies and consultancy on legal aspects pertaining tothese two sectors.
